Removal Procedure

  1. Transmission - Remove - Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (L84, L87 with 4WD and NP0) , or Automatic Transmission Removal and Installation (L84, L87 with 4WD and NQH)

    Position EN-42386  Flywheel Holding Tool (1) into place.

  3. Install M10-1.5 x 120mm (3) and M10-1.5 x 45mm (2) bolts and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

    NOTE:

    Note the position and direction of the automatic transmission flex plate before removal.

    Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [8x]
