Removal Procedure

  1. Using the appropriate tool, release the integral retainers.

  2. Hood Front Edge Weatherstrip (1) - Remove
  3. Using the appropret tool, release the integral retainers.

  4. Hood Side Weatherstrip (1) - Remove [2x]
  5. Hood Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [6x]

  6. Release the 3 integral tabs at the bottom of the hood insulator.
  7. Hood Insulator (2) - Remove
  8. Hood Hinge Nut (1) - Remove [4x]

  9. With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood (2).
  10. Transfer components as necessary.
