Installation Procedure

  1. Attach the mechanics wire to the new hood primary latch release cable (2) and guide the cable in.

  2. Connect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) to the plenum upper panel.
  3. Install the hood primary latch release cable end retainer (1) to the inside handle (2).

  4. Install the hood primary latch release cable handle retainers (1) to the instrument panel lower trim panel outer filler.

  5. Attach the hood primary latch release cable (1) to the retainers (2).

  6. Attach the hood primary latch release cable to the retainer (2).

  7. Connect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer (1) to the latch.
  8. Intake Air Splash Shield (2) - Install

  9. Intake Air Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [9x]
  10. Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle (2) - Install

    11. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  11. Hood Latch Actuator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
