Removal Procedure
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Steel Wheel)Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Reposition the rear portion of the front wheelhouse liner (1).
- Front Fender Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove
- Pull the front fender insulator (2) down and out from the front fender.
- Mark the location of the upper hinge (3) with a grease pencil before removing the bolts.NOTE:
Keep the door in the closed position and replace only one hinge at a time.
- Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- Front Side Door Upper Hinge (3) - Remove
- Mark the location of the lower hinge (3) with a grease pencil before removing the bolts.
- Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- Front Side Door Lower Hinge (3) - Remove
