Removal Procedure
- Lower the headlining trim panel (1) enough to gain access to the liftgate electrical connectors and washer hose.
- Disconnect the washer hose and electrical connector and retainers..
- Washer Hose Grommet (1) - Remove
- Liftgate Wiring Harness Grommet (2) - Remove
- Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) - Reposition
- Remove the 2 metal clips (1) at the ends of the liftgate strut (2).
- Liftgate Strut- Left Side (2) - Remove
- Release the 2 metal clips at each end of the liftgate strut.
- Liftgate Strut- Right Side (1) - Remove
- Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the liftgate. (2)
