Removal Procedure
- Liftgate Weatherstrip (1) - Reposition
- Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to disengage the body side rear window garnish molding (1) and retaining clips on both sides.
- Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove
- Body Side Rear Window Garnish Molding Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove
- - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove
- Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove
- Use a flat-bladed plastic trim tool to disengage the 2 body rear corner upper garnish molding (1) and retaining clips.
- Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Reposition
- Lower the headlining trim panel (1).NOTE:
Lower to gain access to rear window washer nozzle hose extension
- Disengage the retaining clips (2) at the rear of the headliner trim panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose Extension - Disconnect
- Disconnect the upper panel grommet from the body of the vehicle.
- Raise the rear compartment lift window.
- Rear End Spoiler Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Rear End Spoiler Bolt (1) - Remove [11x]
- Rear End Spoiler (1) - Remove
- Rear Window Defroster Electrical Connector Trim Cover (1) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Window Defroster Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect [2x]
- Disconnect the liftgate window struts from the rear compartment lift window.
- Remove the liftgate hinge pin retainers (1).
- With aid of assistance, lift and slid the rear compartment lift window (1) to the left side of the vehicle and remove from the hinge pins (2).
- Rear Compartment Lift Window (1) - Remove
- Install liftgate support.
- Liftgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Lower the headlining trim panel (1) enough to gain access to the liftgate hinge nuts.
- Liftgate Hinge Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Liftgate Hinge (2) - Remove
