Diagnostic Aids
- It is possible to have more than one component fault, all components listed need to be tested.
- OBD system DTCs may have set as a result of a low voltage condition. The DTCs need to be cleared with the scan tool.
- If the customer cannot provide the Proactive Alert, it can be obtained through Service Workbench Alerts.
- If instructed to test the battery follow the instructions in SI for Battery Inspection/Test and Battery Charging using the EL-50313 Midtronics GR8 or EL-52800 Exteq DCBS Battery Tester/Charger.
