| B18 Battery Current Sensor | The battery current sensor is a hall effect current sensor. It monitors current through the negative battery cable. |

The control module also reads various switches and sensors and makes their values available via serial data. |
The sensor measures the amount of current flowing to or from the battery, and supplies a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the K9.
The control module K9 uses the information from the sensor to determine the battery state of charge.
