Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transmission control assembly to the transmission control bracket.

    Automatic Transmission Control (2) - Install

  3. Automatic Transmission Control Nut (1) - Install and tighten [ 3x ] 9 N.m (80 lb/in)
  4. Connect the transmission control electrical connector.
  5. Connect the automatic transmission range selector lever cable to the transmission control. Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement 
  6. Install the front floor console. Front Floor Lower Console Replacement (Equinox)
  7. Release the park brake.
  8. Adjust the automatic transmission range selector lever cable. Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
