Removal Procedure

  1. Set the park brake and chock the wheels.

    Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Bolt (1) - Remove

  3. Slide the retainer lock (2) forward to expose the cable adjustment retainer (3).
  4. Using a suitable tool, raise the cable adjustment retainer (3) to the unlock position.
  5. Remove the range selector lever cable (4) from the range selector lever cable lever and the range selector lever cable bracket.
  6. Front Floor Console - Remove - Front Floor Lower Console Replacement (Equinox)

    Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Grommet Nut (1) - Remove [ 2x ]

    Remove the range selector lever cable screw (1) from the transmission control.

    9. NOTE:

    The cable screw (2) is not separated from the range selector lever cable.

  9. Remove the range selector lever cable screw (2) along with the range selector lever cable (3) from the transmission control.
  10. Remove the range selector lever cable from vehicle by pulling it into the interior.
