Removal Procedure

  1. Fig 1: Identifying Transmission Fluid Drain Plug

    Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  2. Remove the fluid pan drain plug (1).
  3. Drain transmission fluid into a suitable container.
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  4. Install the fluid pan drain plug (1) and tighten to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
