Circuit/System Verification
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P0102, P103, P0641, P0651, P0697, P06A3, P06D2 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
- Verify the following parameters are within 30°C (54°F) of each other:
- Start-Up IAT Sensor 1
- Start-Up IAT Sensor 2
- Start-Up IAT Sensor 3
- If not within 30°C (54°F) of each other
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If within 30°C (54°F) of each other
- Engine - Running
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Intake Air Humidity Sensor = 5 to 90%
- If not between 5 and 90%
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If between 5 and 90%
- If not between 5 and 90%
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
NOTE:
To minimize the effects of residual engine heat and heating elements inside the sensor, perform step 3 of this procedure only if the ignition has been Off for longer than 8 h.
