Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 8.5 N.m (75 lb in) |

CAUTION:
After removing the oil pump flow control valve, ensure the entire valve has been removed and there is no debris left in the oil pump bore. Failure to ensure the oil pump bore is free from debris may result in engine damage.
NOTE:
The engine should be allowed to cool for 2 hours, or until the pump is near ambient temperature or there is a high risk of breaking the oil pump flow control solenoid valve off in the bore when attempting removal. Procedure Disconnect the oil pump flow control solenoid valve electrical wiring harness connector. |
