Removal Procedure

- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Fuel Pressure Relief
- Drain the fuel tank. Fuel Tank Draining
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Wiring Harness (1) - Disconnect
- Remove wiring harness retainer from body.
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose Clamp (2) - Loosen
- Fuel Tank Filler Hose (3) - Remove
- Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (4) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
Fuel Pump Fuel Feed Hose (1) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Hose (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Retainer (3) - Remove
Place a suitable adjustable jack under the fuel tank.
- Fuel Tank Strap Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Fuel Tank Strap (2) - Remove [2x]
Fuel Tank (1) - Remove
- If replacing fuel tank transfer parts as necessary.
