  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LSY) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LSY)

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) - Remove
