Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Loosen the transmission front mount bolt (1). Transmission Front Mount Replacement

    Loosen the transmission rear mount bolt (1). Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (All Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)

  4. Position two floor jacks with wood blocks under the engine and transaxle in order to support the powertrain assembly.
  5. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Loosen ONLY the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

    NOTE:

    Only the transmission mount to transmission bolts should be loosened. Bolts (1 and 4) should remain tightened during the balancing procedure.

    Loosen ONLY bolts (3) at the left transmission mount (5). Transmission Mount Replacement (Left)
