Removal Procedure

    Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement

    Install the EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (1) as shown.

  3. Install a suitable breaker bar onto the EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (1) and hold to prevent rotation of the crankshaft balancer.
  4. Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD
  5. EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (1) - Remove

    EN-38416-2 or J-41816-2  Crankshaft End Protector (1) - Install

    Install the EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (1) as shown.

  8. Install a suitable breaker bar onto the EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (1) and hold to prevent rotation of the crankshaft balancer.
  9. Rotate the crankshaft balancer remover screw (2) clockwise to remove the crankshaft balancer (3) from the crankshaft.

    Remove the EN-51577  Crankshaft Balancer Holder/Remover (3) and the EN-38416-2 or J-41816-2  Crankshaft End Protector (2) from the crankshaft balancer (1).
