Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify DTC DTC P0231, P0232, or P023F is not set.
    • Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify the component location is free of debris, clutter or any obstruction that may reduce airflow which could cause an overheat condition: K111 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module
    • If a condition exists 
    1. Repair as necessary
    2. Perform the following action: Clear the DTCs.
    3. Test drive the vehicle.
    4. Verify DTC P1255 is not set.
      • If the DTC sets - Replace the component: K111 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module
      • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
    5. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  4. Perform the following action: Clear the DTCs.
  5. Test drive the vehicle.
  6. Verify DTC P1255 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Replace the component: K111 Fuel Pump Driver Control Module

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  7. All OK.
