A restriction in the vent system could prevent fuel vapor pressure from bleeding off fast enough. If the pressure cannot bleed off fast enough a DTC sets.
Ensure that the fresh air inlet, reference port, or vent of the component is clean, dry, and unobstructed: B150 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor
