Disassemble Procedure

  1. Fig 1: Exploded View Of Lower Crankcase Extension Components

    Electrical Connector (1) @ Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve - Disconnect

  2. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Drain Pipe (2) - Remove
  3. Engine Wiring Harness Clip (3) - Unclip [2x]
  4. Balancer Shaft Access Hole Nut (4) - Remove
  5. Balancer Shaft Access Hole Washer (5) - Remove
  6. Balancer Shaft Access Hole Plate (6) - Remove
    NOTE:

    Need to twist out.

  7. Engine Wiring Harness Bolt (8) - Remove
  8. Engine Oil Level Indicator Control Module Wiring Harness (7) - Remove

    Engine Oil Temperature Sensor (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Mind the different bolt lengths.

    Balancer Shaft Housing Bolt (1, 2) - Remove [7x]

    Remove the balancer shaft housing (1) along with the oil pump.

    Oil Pump Bolt (3) - Remove [3x]

  13. Oil Pump (5) @ Balancer Shaft Housing (4) - Remove
  14. Oil Pump Gasket (1) - Remove and DISCARD
  15. Oil Pump Drive Shaft (2) - Remove

    Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve Bolt (1) - Remove

  17. Oil Pump Flow Control Solenoid Valve (2) - Remove
  18. Oil Pump Locating Pin (3) - Remove [2x]
  19. Oil Pump Seal (4) - Remove and DISCARD

    Balancer Shaft Front Bearing (1) - Remove [4x]

    Balancer Shaft Bearing Bolt (3) - Remove

  22. Balancer Shaft Bearing Cap (4) - Remove
  23. Balancer Drive Shaft (2) - Remove
  24. Balancer Driven Shaft (1) - Remove
  25. Balancer Shaft Front Bearing (5) - Remove [6x]
  26. Engine Block Lower Structural Extension Core Hole Plug (6) - Remove
