Removal Procedure

- Transmission - Remove - Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
- NOTE:
The timing pin is installed into the flexplate for engine timing procedures, it can be damaged if torque is applied to the flexplate with the timing pin engaged. The timing pin must be placed in the retracted position using the handle and twisting to locked position. The slide part to be installed to the flexplate when torque is applied to the flexplate or crankshaft balancer bolt.
EN-52476 Flywheel Holding Tool (1) - Install
- Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (2) - Loosen [8x]
- EN-52476 Flywheel Holding Tool (1) - Remove
Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD [8x]
- Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (1) - Remove
