Oil Pressure Diagnosis and Testing: Procedure

    Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)

    Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (1) - Remove

  3. Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD

    Install the EN-6106  adapter (1).

  5. Install the KM-498-B  gauge (2).
  6. Start the engine.
  7. Check the engine oil pressure.
    1. If measured at the oil pressure sensor, the engine at 1500 RPM, the oil pressure is 125 - 185 kPa (18.13 - 26.83 psi) and the oil temperature must be 20°C (68°F) or more.
    2. If measure at the oil filter, Install the CH-48207  Kit and EN-52486  Oil Filter Adapter the oil pressure is 135 - 195 kPa (19.58 - 28.28 psi) and the oil temperature must be 20°C (68°F) or more.
  8. Remove the KM-498-B  gauge (2).
  9. Remove the EN-6106  adapter (1).
  10. Turn off the engine.

    Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Seal (2) - Install NEW

  12. Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (1) - Install and tighten 35 N.m (26 lb ft)
  13. Check the engine oil level.
