Results of Incorrect Operation

A plugged orifice (1) may cause the following conditions:
- Rough idle
- Stalling or slow idle speed
- High pitch audible noise from front or rear engine covers
- Oil leaks
- Sludge in engine
A leaking orifice (1) may cause the following conditions:
- Rough idle
- Stalling
- High idle speed
CAUTION:
Do NOT use shop air to clean the positive crankcase ventilation oil separator vent hole. Using shop air could cause component damage including internal damage to the fine separator valve.
Clean vent hole with a suitable tool to remove road debris.
