Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement - Heater Outlet Hose (LSY)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LSY) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LSY) 
  2. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector - Disconnect
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer
2 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

Procedure

  1. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector - Connect
  2. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LSY) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716 LSY) 
  3. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
