Installation Procedure

Hood Secondary Latch Release Cable (1) - Install

Using the appropriate tool, carefully secure the tabs (1) of the front bumper fascia center support to the hood secondary latch release cable tabs (1).

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Hood Secondary Latch Release Handle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Connect the hood secondary latch release cable end retainer (1) to the hood primary and secondary latch.
Install the appropriate intake air splash shield:
- For (LGX) engine refer to Intake Air Splash Shield Replacement .
- For (LCV) engine refer to Intake Air Splash Shield Replacement .
- For (LSY) engine, refer to Intake Air Splash Shield Replacement
