Removal Procedure
- Set the park brake and chock the wheels.
Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable retaining bolt (3).
- Slide the lock ring (1) forward, then raise the lock tab (2).
- Disconnect the automatic transmission range selector lever cable (4) from the automatic transmission range selector lever cable lever.
- Remove the left front floor console extension panel. Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side
Remove the 2 automatic transmission range selector lever cable fasteners (1) from the transmission control assembly.
Remove the 2 automatic transmission range selector lever cable grommet nuts (1) and the automatic transmission range selector lever cable grommet (2) from the cowl panel.
- Remove the automatic transmission range selector lever cable from the vehicle.
