Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Reposition both floor jacks and blocks of wood in order to allow a 1/8 inch gap between the mount and bracket.
  2. Shake the powertrain vigorously by hand from front to rear and allow the powertrain to settle.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Tighten the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts (1). Engine Mount Replacement

    NOTE:

    Transmission mount bolts (4) should remain tightened during the balancing procedure.

    Tighten the transmission mount transmission side bolts (3) at the transmission mount (5). Transmission Mount Replacement (Left Side)

  5. Raise the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Tighten the transmission rear mount bolt (1) at the transmission rear mount (5).

  7. Remove the jack stands and wood blocks supporting the engine and transaxle from underneath the powertrain.
