Removal Procedure
- Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling
High Voltage Battery (1) - Remove - High Voltage Battery Replacement and Shipping Preparation
High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement - Left Side (1) - Remove - High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Replacement (Left Side)
High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement - Right Side (1) - Remove - High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Replacement (Right Side)
Battery Cover - Front (3) - Remove - Battery Cover Replacement (Back Panel) , or Battery Cover Replacement (Front Panel)
Battery Cover - Back (2) - Remove - Battery Cover Replacement (Back Panel) , or Battery Cover Replacement (Front Panel)
Battery Hold Down Retainer - Right Side Panel (3) - Remove - Battery Hold Down Retainer Replacement (Right Side Panel)
Battery Hold Down Retainer - Left Side Panel (3) - Remove - Battery Hold Down Retainer Replacement (Left Side Panel)
- NOTE:
Take care not to damage duct seal (1) when removing.
Battery Cooling Air Inlet Duct - Front (2) - Remove
- NOTE:
Take care not to damage duct seal (2), when removing.
Battery Cooling Air Inlet Duct- Rear (1) - Remove
High Voltage Bus Bar Fastener (1) - Remove [2X]
- High Voltage Bus Bar (2) - Remove
Disconnect the ribbon connector. (1)
Battery Vent Tube (1) - Disconnect
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect
High Voltage Battery Interface Control Module (1) - Remove
Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Remove [2X]
- Battery Hold Down Retainer (1) - Remove
Cell Battery Module (1) - Remove
If replacing the cell battery module, insert the shipping bracket (2) that comes with the NEW cell battery.
- Install the retainers. (1)
