DISCARD the retaining ring. |

The drive motor rotor is strongly magnetic. DO NOT place within 6 inches of ferrous metallic components.
NOTE:
Place the drive motor rotor on a lint free cloth to prevent metallic debris from adhering to the outer diameter.
