Preliminary Procedure

  1. SIR Disabling and Enabling 
  2. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement
1 Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut [2x]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Inflatable Restraint Module Handling and Scrapping 
  3. SIR Disabling and Enabling
