Circuit/System Description

Circuit Description
Ignition circuit Supplied from a relay.
Control Circuit The output circuit is switched to ground to activate the component.
Ground circuit Chassis Ground
Component Description
E15 Steering Wheel Heater The steering wheel has a built-in resistor loop that heats the steering wheel.The temperature sensor is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, a resistor which changes based on temperature.
K32 Steering Wheel Heating Control Module When the control module receives a signal from the switch S70L it switches the steering wheel heating and the indicator On/Off.The control module is located inside the steering wheel.
S70L Steering Wheel Controls Switch - Left The position of the switch S70L is read by the control module K32.The switch assembly has 1 function (s) :E15 Steering Wheel Heater
