Circuit/System Description

| Circuit | Description |
|---|---|
| B+ - Terminal 1 | The output circuit is switched from ground to 12 V to activate the component. |
| Ground - Terminal 14 | Grounded through the control module. |

| Q5 Brake Pressure Modulator | The pump motor is an integral part of the brake pressure modulator, while the pump motor relay is integral to the electronic brake control module. The pump motor relay is not engaged during normal system operation. |
| K17 Electronic Brake Control Module | When ABS, traction control or stability control operation is required, the electronic brake control module activates the pump motor. |
