Installation Procedure

- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe to the vehicle.
Install a NEW seal. (3)
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe (2) - Install
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Nut (4) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip (1) - Engage
Front Wheelhouse Front Liner-Left Side (3) Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side
Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Clip (2) - Install
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Engage - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Install - Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LFV with MRG (at the air conditioning condenser bracket)) , or Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement (LFV with MRG (from the transmission to the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe))
Battery Tray (2) - Install Battery Tray Replacement (LFV)
- Remove the drain pan under the vehicle.
- Fill the transmission to the proper level with NEW transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- Inspect for transmission fluid leaks. Fluid Leak Diagnosis
