Removal Procedure

Remove the front bumper fascia. (1) Front Bumper Fascia Replacement
Remove the battery tray. Battery Tray Replacement (LFV)
Place a drain pan under the vehicle.

NOTE:
Cover or plug all open transmission fluid cooler pipe connection points to help avoid any accidental contamination.

Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Pipe (1) @ Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe - Remove - Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

NOTE:
Do to clearance issues, the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe and transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt have to be removed from the vehicle together.

Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Bolt (2) - Loosen
Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) at the transmission fluid cooler inlet pipe and the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler. Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (1) and the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe bolt (2) from the vehicle.
