NOTE:
If the connectors or terminals are damaged and/or corroded at the Power Assist Motor, replace the Power Steering Assist Motor. Power Steering Assist Motor Replacement Wiring harness, connectors, and terminals that power the electric dual pinion rack and pinion steering gear cannot be repaired. The appropriate wiring harness or the electric dual pinion rack and pinion steering gear component must be replaced. |

Inspect the engine wiring harness connectors and terminals leading to the steering gear for looseness, corrosion, and/or damage. If the engine wiring harness connectors or terminals has looseness, corrosion, and/or damage, replace the engine wiring harness.Wiring harness, connectors, and terminals that power the electric dual pinion rack and pinion steering gear cannot be repaired. The appropriate wiring harness or the electric dual pinion rack and pinion steering gear component must be replaced. |
