Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9) 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Starter Solenoid - Remove

  4. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector. (2)

    Remove the starter bracket fastener. (1)

  7. Remove the starter bracket fastener. (2)
  8. Remove the starter bracket. (3)

    Starter Mounting Nut (2) - Remove

  10. Starter Mounting Bolt (1) - Remove
  11. Starter (3) - Remove
