Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9) 
  2. Drive Belt Replacement - Remove
  3. Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement - Remove
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  6. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
  7. Electrical Connector (4) - Disconnect
  8. Lower the vehicle.

    Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [2X]

  10. Generator Nut (2) - Remove
  11. Remove generator mounting stud, if necessary. (3)
  12. Remove the generator. (4)
