Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
Retaining Tab (2) - Disengage [2x]
- Front Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut (3) @ Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
Retainer (1) - Disengage [2x]
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Retainer (1) - Disengage
Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Starter Solenoid - Remove
- Protective Cap (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (3) @ Generator - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable (4) - Remove
