Installation Procedure

    Battery Positive Cable (4) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) @ Generator - Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  3. Protective Cap (3) - Install
  4. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Starter Solenoid - Install and tighten 13 N.m (115 lb in)

    Retainer (1) - Engage

  6. Lower the vehicle.

    Retainer (1) - Engage

    Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install

  9. Battery Positive Cable Nut (3) @ Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block - Install and tighten - Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Replacement

    Front Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  11. Retaining Tab (2) - Engage [2x]
  12. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
