If the high voltage contactor relays open while high current is present a large voltage surge may be created. The resultant voltage surge may set DTC P1AEE or P1AEF. Always check for other DTCs or conditions such as loss of isolation, contactor control, etc. that could result in a vehicle shutdown/stall.
