Circuit/System Verification

Verify a low 12 V battery event did not occur. Inspect for DTC P0562 or similar. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - VehicleDTC B1325, B1330, B1424, B1425, B1439, B1517, C0800, P0560-P0563, P1002, P129B, P129C, P15AE, P15AF, P1A0C, P1A0D, P17B0-P17B2, P17DD-P17DF, P1E19, OR P1E1A .
- If a low 12 V battery condition occurred
  Perform the Clear Secured High Voltage DTCs reset function and repair the cause of the low 12 V battery.
- Go to next step: If a low 12 V battery condition did not occur
Record the freeze frame/failure records for DTC P0C76.
Vehicle ON.
With a scan tool, perform the Clear Secured High Voltage DTCs reset function.

NOTE:

To ensure the DTC has cleared you must get propulsion ready as this DTC normally sets during vehicle OFF power down.

Vehicle ON, propulsion/vehicle ready. Vehicle OFF and wait 2 minutes. Vehicle ON, propulsion/vehicle ready. Vehicle OFF and wait 2 minutes. Vehicle ON, Verify DTC P0C76 is not set.
- If the DTC is set
  Replace the A28 Hybrid/EV Battery Contactor Assembly.
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
