Installation Procedure

NOTE:
Install a NEW catalytic converter gasket.

Catalytic Converter Gasket (1) - Install
Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter (2) - Install

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Catalytic Converter Nut (3) - Install and tighten [4x] 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Heated Oxygen Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Turbocharger Heat Shield Replacement - Install
Raise and support the vehicle.

Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) - Install
Start the engine and check for exhaust leaks.
