Removal Procedure

- Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LTG) .
- Remove the turbocharger. Refer to Compressor Air Intake Turbocharger Replacement .
- Remove the exhaust manifold brace. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Brace Replacement (LTG) .
Remove the exhaust manifold fasteners (1) and discard.
- Remove the exhaust manifold (3) and discard the exhaust manifold gasket (2).
