Removal Procedure

NOTE:

Vehicle alignment is not required if the cradle is being lowered or dropped to perform another procedure. This vehicle is equipped with a cradle to body aligning feature: cradle to body through holes or self aligning pins that are part of the cradle or body. Only align if replacing the cradle with a NEW cradle and transferring components.

Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the rear wheels. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Dual Exhaust)Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Single Exhaust) (2) - Remove

Electric Parking Brake Harness Retainer (2) - Disengage
Position the rear park brake cables aside.
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Connectors (1) - Disconnect
Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Retainers (3) - Disengage

NOTE:
Support the knuckle assembly.

Lower Control Arm Replacement (1) - Remove

Adjust Link Replacement (1) - Remove

Rear Suspension Upper Lateral Link Replacement (1) - Remove

Disconnect the ABS Harness from the body.
Using the EN-39580 Support Stand support the rear suspension cradle. (2)
Rear Suspension Cradle Rear Bolt (1) - Remove and DISCARD [2X]
Rear Suspension Cradle Front Bolt (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2X]

Rear Suspension Cradle Bolt (1) - Remove [2X]
Rear Suspension Cradle (2) - Remove
Transfer components as necessary.
