Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Ensure that the rear suspension cradle is securely attached to the hydraulic jack stand

    Using the EN-39580  Support Stand install the rear suspension cradle into position. (2)

  2. Rear Suspension Cradle Bolt (1) - Hand tighten [2x]

    Rear Suspension Cradle Bolt (1) - Hand tighten [4X]

    Using the CH-51034 - A  Cradle Alignment Pins, or equivalent alignment dowel pins (1), align the cradle to the body.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    Rear Suspension Cradle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 58 N.m (43 lb ft)

    Rear Suspension Cradle Rear Bolt (1) - Install and tighten the NEW bolt. [2X]

    Tighten

    1. First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: Plus 90 - 105 Degrees
  7. Rear Suspension Cradle Front Bolt (2) - Install and tighten the NEW bolt. [2X]

    Tighten

    1. First Pass: 160 N.m (118 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass: Plus 90 - 105 Degrees
  8. Connect the ABS harness to the body.
  9. Remove the support jack.

    Rear Suspension Upper Lateral Link Replacement (1) - Install

    Adjust Link Replacement (1) - Install

    Lower Control Arm Replacement (1) - Install

    Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Retainers (1) - Engage

    Electric Parking Brake Harness Retainer (2) - Engage

  15. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Connectors (1) - Connect
  16. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Harness Retainers (3) - Engage

    Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Dual Exhaust)Exhaust Muffler Replacement (Single Exhaust) (2) - Install

  18. Install the rear wheels. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  19. If the drivetrain and front suspension cradle was replaced with a NEW cradle, perform a wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Specifications
