Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:

Use Wiring Schematics to determine which devices are controlled by K9 Body Control Module's ignition circuit terminal 7 X3 or the KR76 Retained Accessory Power Relay. Use the connector end view to identify the ignition circuit terminal for each of those devices.

  1. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  2. Verify the appropriate devices controlled by the KR76 Retained Accessory Power Relay turn ON and OFF when cycling the ignition between ON and OFF.
    • If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Diagnostic A

    • Go to next step: If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  3. Verify that the appropriate devices controlled by the K9 Body Control Module's circuit terminal 7 X3 turn ON and OFF when commanding the Accessory/Retained Accessory Power Relay On and Off with a scan tool.
    • If the devices do not turn ON and OFF 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing - Diagnostic B.

    • Go to next step: If the devices turn ON and OFF 
  4. All OK.
