Installation Procedure

    Install the transmission mount strut (3) to the vehicle.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    Torque-to-Yield Fastener Warning

  2. Install and tighten the NEW transmission mount strut bolt (1).
    1. First Pass:100 N.m (74 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass:120 - 135 degrees
  3. Install and tighten the NEW transmission rear mount bolt (2).
    1. First Pass:70 N.m (52 lb ft)
    2. Final Pass:90 - 105 degrees
  4. Remove the jack stand.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
