Installation Procedure

- NOTE:
Do not apply lubricant to the o-ring on leak detection pump. Lubricant can be pulled into the pump resulting in damage to the pump.
Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump (2) - Install
- Retaining Tab (1) - Engage [2x]
Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump Hose (3) - Install - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
- Retaining Tab (2) - Engage
- Retainer (1) - Install
Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump (2) - Install
- Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump Nut (1) - Install [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose @ Evaporative Emission System Vacuum Leak Pump - Connect - Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose Replacement
- Rear Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
NOTE:
Two audible clicks will be heard when pump is fully seated in bracket.
NOTE:
An audible click will be heard when hose is fully seated in bracket.
