The High Voltage Disabling procedure will perform the following tasks: Identify how to disable high voltage. Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage. Identify condition under which high voltage is always present and personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed. Failure to follow the procedures exactly as written may result in serious injury or death. Preliminary Procedures Disable the high voltage system. Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cooling System Draining and Filling Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Outlet Hose @ Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe - Remove - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Outlet Hose Replacement Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Pump Cooling Inlet Hose @ Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe - Remove - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Inlet Hose Replacement (Drive Motor Bat Rad Surge Tank To Pump) , or Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cooling Inlet Hose Replacement (Trans Pipe to Aux Radiator)
1	Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe Nut [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe Procedure Install a NEW seal. Do NOT reuse the old seal. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.

Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Coolant Pipe Nut [2x]

CAUTION:

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Procedure

Install a NEW seal. Do NOT reuse the old seal.
Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE-47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)
Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
