Removal Procedure

  1. Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement  - Remove
  2. Crankshaft Position Sensor - Remove - Crankshaft Position Sensor Replacement

    NOTE:

    Mark the location of the long bolts (2) and short bolts (1) prior to removal.

    Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Housing Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]

  4. Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Housing Bolt (2) - Remove [4x]

    NOTE:

    Loosen the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1) at the intended positions (2) with a suitable tool.

    Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Housing (1) - Remove

    Remove and DISCARD the crankshaft rear oil seal (1) from the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (2), using a suitable tool.
